Unfinished restoration project. Carvel built 5-ton handicap racer, built by Luke Brothers in 1937 at Hamble to A.R. Luke's admired design. Copper-fastened on steamed oak frames. Only nine of these fast yachts were ever built, perhaps only three survive.

Uffa Fox in Racing, Cruising and Design wrote, "Teal was a delight to the eye, as one would expect, for she was designed by Luke, of Hamble. She proved herself to be such an able boat, both as a racer and as a day cruiser that more were built the following year." Teal won the Round the Island Race in 1935 and 1936 and in the first post-war race in 1945 her sister ship Content was the winner.
